Maldon children are aiming high

The 'Aiming High' programme at Maldon Primary finished with a presentation for both Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, celebrating their hard work and commitment throughout the sessions. Headteacher Debbie Conroy said, "The Aiming High Programme has had a clear impact at Maldon Primary School. The children reflected on their aspirations, what impact they wanted to have on the world, and the legacy they wanted to leave. We were all impressed with how confidently all of the children presented their reflections in front of their peers and parents."

It was especially rewarding to hear the feedback from staff and parents above the positive impact the programme has had. Since taking part, the children have shown a boost in their confidence and self-esteem. One delighted parent said, "This programme that the school has brought in for the children has been fantastic. The parents were amazed at how well all the children did with their presentations, and we were all so proud of them."

The school would like to say a big thank you to Anthony Daulphin, CEO of the Standing Ovation Project, who ran the sessions in school. And well done to the children for all their effort and enthusiasm.
