Overview:

This session will provide an introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), advice for working with the school’s SENDCo and how to monitor outcomes for this group of children.

Questions we will consider include:

  • What do we mean by SEND?
  • How do schools identify and meet special educational needs?
  • What is the role of the Governing Body and the SEND Governor?
